It’s the end of another weird week. Go pour yourself a cold one.

I could use a happy peppy beer right about now. Remember too keep your physical distance, but not necessarily  your social distance. They really focused on a crappy way of explaining what we need to do.

Standard chat doesn’t work because of the latency issue.  This one analyzes you’re latency and compensates for it.  I’m running my laptop hard wired to my router.  I’m using a presonus audiobox i2 to run my guitar and mic into the computer.  When I listen to my jamkazaam session through my headphones, set to monitor 100% of the signal coming back from the server, I’m getting 0 latency.  In theory that’s what the others in my session would hear but I haven’t tried it with more than me yet.  I’ll report back.

Nice! It always intrigued me how American jazz was always so popular in Europe, especially when it was still looked down upon in America in the early days. I have a tremendous amount of respect for folks who can improvise. It’s a skill I never learned.

Made a run to the liquor and grocery stores. We’re stocked for the weekend. I just found out my grocery store stopped carrying Kiltlifter, so I’ll have to find another source. Still, I’ve plenty of things with which to pickle my liver.

I opened a good bottle of Chianti this week to have with my pasta. So I shared it with my neighbor. I texted her and left it on her door step, wiped down of course. She did the same with the Merlot she had opened . This is how us neighborhood drunks hang out in the new order.
